Capgemini visited at our college i.e "Dr. B C Roy Engineering College, Durgapur" for campus drive at 23rd and 24th September.
The recruitment process started with a presentation on the first day, they call all the student for it. My suggestion is to everyone to pay attention to that presentation carefully to get the proper insight of the company, as you might be going to join that company, and it is a best opportunity to get about the company, also in HR round HR asked few questions which I got from this PPT.
The first aptitude test was conducted. The questions were simple but time was very less, so I will suggest to you people as per my experience to be quick in your calculations and solve as fast as possible.
There were 3 parts of the written round.
1. Logical reasoning
2. English (verbal)
3. Quantitative.
To crack the quantitative aptitude, I would suggest to regularly practice from R S Aggarwal, and you can take mock test Q4Interveiw.com, also take all the Capgemini mock test, its help lot to manage the time.
Then the next section we have an Essay writing part. I started practicing topics from q4interveiw Capgemini essay writing section.
You can follow little hack for Essay writing,
Tips: if you made any mistake, please don't use backspace and delete the words, instead, select the wrong letter by mouse, press delete and then write the letter again.
When result announce 154 students cleared in the written round and I was one of them, and all were promoted to the technical interview round.
The technical interview is a little challenging. Prepared well from CV, as most of the initial questions will from it only, prepare your project well.
Before attending Capgemini interview we use to have a mock interview in our friend circle, it helps me lot.
As I was from CS branch to I got a technical question from Computer, Operating System and Computer networks.
Few of the general question was in the technical round from your college infrastructure (no. Of computers, servers, LAN, devices, etc within your campus), so I also suggest that you should have little brief info about your college and campus.
I cracked the Technical round and I moved to next round i.e HR Round, and it was really easy round.
You should always prepared well for below few common questions, as being the first question, it put great expression if you answered well.
1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Why should we hire you?
3. Are you comfortable to reallocate anywhere across India?
Finally, the result announced and 120 students got selected from our college, and I was one of them... Yahoo !!! I was very happy.. and immediately I called to my Mom and inform about it.
Just be CONFIDENT. Best of Luck. !!!
