This is very easy question you have just to make equation than it will be solved easily. Number of red fish = 99% of 200 = 198. Let the number of red fish removed be x. 198 - x = 98% of 200 - x

⇒198−x=98/100∗200−x$⇒198−x=98/100∗200−x$

⇒19800−100x=19600−98x$⇒19800−100x=19600−98x$

⇒19800−19600=100x−98x$⇒19800−19600=100x−98x$

⇒200=2x⇒x=100$⇒200=2x⇒x=100$

So, we have to remove 100 red fish so the number of red fish in total become 98%.
