Job Description:

Ansys is hiring candidates for the post of DevOps Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

→This hands-on analytics role will be responsible for supervising Uber's Risk platform capabilities and developing new strategies to keep the fraudsters off Uber by identifying patterns using data analysis and visualization

→You will serve as the subject matter authority on analytics/data-driven solutions that mitigate the risk of financial losses while also maintaining a positive user experience and enabling Uber to continue making big bold bets.

→You will develop a solid understanding of key Uber systems and tools to optimally review and analyze emerging trends and provide recommendations for mitigating emerging fraud vectors.

→Communicate optimally with cross-functional teams across subject areas such as product, engineering, data science with a focus on Risk/Fraud mitigation.

Eligibility Criteria:

• BE/B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA/BCS/MCA/ME/M.Tech
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 
• MS degree or the foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or related field or 1-3 years of related experience

  Preferred skill:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Linux shell scripting, Windows batch scripting and Perl)
  • Knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL Experience with YAML and JSON programming language
  • Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio, Intel and GCC compilers Experience with a configuration management software like GIT Familiarity with C/C++ and Fortran programming
