Soil pollution is one of major deviating issue of this world. This pollution is increasing due to carelessness of the environment by the human. People discharge garbage bag and other non biodegradable materials in the open environment. the poly bags and chemicals discharged in the atmosphere releases chemicals in the soil. This chemicals present in soil harms the micro organisms used for decomposition of plants and animals. Chemicals discharged in soil is absorbed by plants. Plants are further eaten by animals. When the animals eat toxic plants, poison spreads in their whole body. When rain water fall on the polluted soil, it get contaminated with toxic chemicals. This rain water flows to the river through drainage and makes the river water toxic which harms the aquatic plant and animals. The chemicals released in soil get transferred into ground water. This ground water is a common source of water for many households. Many people drink this toxic ground water without any filtration. This results in damage of body parts like kidney, heart, liver and many other organs. Toxins dissolved in soil absorbed by plants produces fruits and vegetables. These fruits and vegetables are further by eaten by humans. Which results in further damage of the precious organs.
Soil pollution can be reduced by developing the substitute of plastics and other non biodegradable materials. Toxic chemicals should be discharged properly so that flow of poison from one body to another body can be avoided. Government should take strict actions who dispose toxic materials carelessly. Chapters related to avoiding toxic materials should be added in moral science, so that awareness can be increase in youth. Common people should work to reduce soil pollution by working on battle level.
