But nowadays in India government are misusing this caste system. They had invented 4 castes General, OBC (other backward classes), SC (schedule caste), ST(Schedule tribe). The worst problem of this caste system is in education system. The people who are having good knowledge and having the ability to get good education from good college or university but they are unable to get admission in good college or university because of this caste system. SC, ST criteria is very low for getting admission in good college or university. General and OBC people will get rejection in getting admission in those college or universities. Another biggest problem of caste system is getting jobs in government sector. People who are having high percentage or high marks or good abilities but unable to get the job in government sector. The people who have thier caste SC or ST will easily get job in government sector with less marks or less capability. Because of that SC ST people get high position jobs and unable to work like that position due to lack of ability.
Because of the above two major problems we should remove this caste system from our society for the betterment of the society.

In Indian history the caste system was divided on the basis of their work, the person who had a lot of knowledge was categorised in brahman, the person who is powerful was and had tendency to secure from others his community was categorised in kshatriya, those who were business minded were categorised in vaishya and those who were not able to do anything were told to do the rest of the work of society were known as shudra. In Indian caste system it was not necessary that the child of brahman will also be a brahman , if the child of brahman had less knowledge and was able to secure his community then he become kshatriya similarly, if the son of shudra had a lot of knowledge and was able to teach society then he was told as brahman. But, with passing of time the caste system of India got changed. People denied to follow the caste rule according to which if the son of brahman had no knowledge and remains brahman , the son of kshatriya remains kshatriya even if he was not able to secure himself in society, the son of vaishya remains vaishya even if he was not able to fulfill his square meal and the son of shudra remains shudra if could teach society, or was able to make his community secure. this new caste system resulted that there was no problem in the family of brahman , ksatriya and vaishya but the shudra community had to sacrifice a lot. This caste system resulted in increase in distance between shudra and rest of the caste which results in further discrimination with shudra community. Shudra were not allowed to sit with the rest of the castes, they were kept in the enchantment of untouchability. Shudra were not allowed to use the water of same well which was used by the upper castes. This discrimination increased with passing of time. Many social reformers came in front to wake the society and to destroy this haywire caste system. Which results in decrease of caste discrimination in the society. Now a days, people in our society get educated and are getting their job according to their knowledge and ability. But till now there is some caste discrimination in the society in some villages where less educated people are living.
Caste system is necessary for a society so, new caste system should be reformed on the basis of profession. Community should avoid this rubbish caste system to decrease the discrimination in the society. The identification of a person from caste should be done.
