Placement Paper :: Capgemini

Hello Guys,

I am a student of CSE branch from ICFAI University. I attended Capgemini pool-campus drive held in CMRIT college. Campus drive of Capgemini was conducted by Cocubes.

Capgemini Placement drive pattern.

1) Aptitude + Essay writing.
2) TR.
3) HR.

9th September 2016:

- 1st round comprised of two section i.e aptitude and essay writing.

Apti (16 Quant+16 Logical Reasoning) 16 questions in each section. Aptitude was about 50 min and after completing this section, You will get new window for essay writing
The question was asked in Quant section was very easy, You just need to focus more and more on Avg, allegation mixture, percentage, profit and loss, and in Logical Reasoning Syllogism is very important, at least you will get 3 to 4 question from particular this topic, then pie chart, and coding-decoding.

At the time of writing essay, care about these things:

1- Space after full stop and comma.
2- First letter will be capital, after full stop.
3- Try to cover the min no of words given to write.
4- And your introduction, content and conclusion should be in diff-diff paragraph.

On 9th September 2016, the results of 1st rounds were announced, 300 students cleared out of 1300 and I was one of them.

We had our further rounds on next day i.e. TR and HR interview on 10-September-2016.

TR Round:

My interviewer was really very frank. They basically check the confidence and basic knowledge of the core subjects and projects mentioned in the CV.

General question they asked like, Tell me the concept of Fibonacci Series and write the program for that. He was also doing cross questioning like, if I don't want to write return 0 or int or void or if I don't put the Semicolon, will it effect to the program.

Total, he asked me 5 question from programming part only, and he made me write all 5 prog.

Just learn the basic concept of C programming and Java and know how to answer confidently.

- 3rd round:

HR Round:

My interview took place around 3 in the evening and it was around 20 minutes.

ME: Good evening Sir.
SIR: Good Evening, how are you.

SIR: Tell me something about yourself.
ME: Told.

SIR: What Have you done apart from your study?
ME: Told.

SIR: Tell me about your academic project.
ME: Told.

SIR: Speak for 4 min on water.
ME: I spoke for 5 to 6 min, he was happy.

SIR: What is Quora, As you have mentioned in your resume?
ME: That was the question, for which I was sure about that, they definitely gonna ask, answered everything about Quora.

SIR: Tell me about your objective, as you have mentioned in your resume?
ME: Told.

SIR: Do you have any question to ask?
ME: I didn't ask, but we should ask at least one question, it shows you are interested in the company.

On same day results were declared 2 students from my college were selected and I was one of them. I have selected. So, everyone, The Capgemini Drive will be very easy , once if you clear the aptitude and essay round.
