English Grammar Test (20 MCQ)
Group Discussion (10-15 candidates)
Technical Round (one to one)
Written Test (60 questions in 60 min. )
HR Round (one to one)
English Grammar Test: This test consists of 20Â basic MCQ questions and has time limit of 20 minutes.
Group Discussion: A group of 10-15 (max) candidates will participate in HCL GD Round. Each candidate is given time separately to introduce themselves, later HR will ask some general questions about their hobbies, project, or here HR will put across some general topic to discuss.By this Round HR checks candidates fluency, clarity of thought and command over language. Candidates need to put more attention for this round as most candidates get filtred by end of the round.
Technical Round: HCL Interview Process for Freshers, Candidates who get selected from GD round, will have Technical round.In this round questions will be from resume, project, candidates core subjects, C/C++/DS/OS/Networking, some general questions etc. Be prepared with your core subjects and try to answer most of the technical questions. Cover all technical subjects from 1st year to final year.
Written Test: HCL Technologies written test is conducted by Cocubes. The written test consists of 60 questions which is divided into 4 sections,each section will have 15 questions. Total time allotted to the written exam is 60 minutes.

Sectional Cut-off: There is no sectional cut-off & no negative marking for the wrong answers.
Quantitative Ability: This section will cover questions from Decimals & Fractions, HCF & LCM, Equations, Logarithms and exponents, Permutation and Combination, Probability, profit and loss, SI, CI, Boat and Stream, pipe, Time and work, Problem on Train, Time & Distance, clock & calendar etc.
Verbal Ability: This Section questions will be from major Topics like, Synonyms, Antonyms, Word Meaning, Complete the Sentence, Comprehension skills, Spot error/Correct sentence etc.
Reasoning: In this Section questions will be from major topics like Analogy and Classification, Statement-Conclusion, Statement-Assumption, Data-sufficiency, Syllogisms, Pattern Recognition, Coding and Decoding, Alphabet Test, Blood Relation, Direction Understanding, Logical Word Sequence, Puzzles, Theme Detection etc.
Technical Ability: In this section questions will be from the programming language, Data-structures, and Basics Algorithms etc. Take Q4I C/C++ programming MCQ online test, Data-Structure MCQ test, OS MCQ test.
HR Round: This round is based on personal and educational details of Candidates. The questions will be like introduce yourself, preferred location, certificate courses, weakness and strengths, any leadership qualities portrayed in any particular situation, multiple languages known by you etc. In this round, they will judge candidates Problem Solving Skills, Logical Thinking, and Time Management Skills etc. Refer HR interview question asked at fresher level.
