So present Ram age will be = 9x and shyam age = 5x

6 Years ago:
Ram age will be = (9x-6) and shyam age = (5x-6)

as per the question:
(9x-6) = 2*(5x-6)
=>9x -6 = 10x - 12
=> x = 6

so difference between their ages = 4*6 = 24 years
