"       India is land of heritage and culture.  Teaching is also one of the oldest culture present in India. From the Vedic age the practice of teaching is present in our country.  The different disciplines of knowledge is keeping its flow through the practice of teaching to the successors from the resource persons.      The relation between the teacher and students is still prevailing through the barrier of knowledge transfer from the teachers to the students. In the olden days students used stay at the gurukulam with their master serving him, until their education is completed . As the time changed this process has been changed where schools and colleges replaced them. From the past 30 years India is following the same education system which is not meeting with the present day technology. Due to which the teaching methods are also the same which has not updated to the present practical world. Also the teaching format has been following the old procedure of teaching the subjects only for getting marks. A subject taught must be in a practical approach but not only restricted to marks itself. The present day teaching methods are getting much worse due to commercial practices followed by the educational institutions. The only aim of getting a good name and fame to respective educational institution is by showing their results. So teachers are also teaching in order to get good marks rather than getting good subject. The conventional method of mugging up of syllabus to the students and making them sit for long hours to study has an payable impact on the students. In case of any problem solving there is only a conventional style of solving which is taught for examination purposes only.   It is the role of the teacher to create an interest and teach subject a "

"     Change with time is necessary and is the rule of nature. But it seems this isn't what the education sector especially college and schools adhere to and so have happened with the teaching methods in the country. It's outdated and too monotonous to be of providing knowledge let be the interesting part. The reason for this is how the system falls into place, if the syllabus and the curriculum isn't going to change, why would teachers update themselves with the new content around.     The teaching methods have shaped itself in a way that it's more about marks and not about what the students learn from it. Everyone has come across the (a+b)^2 formula, but very few knows that this formula describes the area of  rectangle with a and b sides. Teachers do know this but, in exams the expansion is asked and not where this is applied, so they don't care to share this among their students.  The assignments that  are given to the students haven't seen a change in the topics, and are just something that can be directly be found in the textbooks. So the students don't take the extra effort and so they don't learn or even know that something lies behind. The way school and colleges are structured, they tend to reduce the reasoning ability and only increase and teaches the way to mug up and score. There are teachers who try to build a rapport with students and take the topics beyond their books. But, to their dismay, the students get used to the teaching method and the taechers efforts go down the drain.     There's a lot to change with the teaching methods and mentality. Being educated and being shouldn't be two different parts, and teachers can surely make this happen. "

" Teaching methods of India are very different when compared to other countries.  In other countries like Japan, USA,China etc.,they teach the concepts that are most relevant to their practical life. Usually,in India people use teach the lessons, give notes on that and conduct exams.  Most of the children don't know the concept.  As they have no other option other than writing exam they study all the notes that is given by their teacher and they will reproduce the same content on exam.  They don't know any thing about the concept like where we apply the concept in our real life and what is the real use of the subject etc.  In other countries, they use to teach the concepts and make students to implement them in their life.  Going to school, taking notes, studying the stuff that is in books and writing the exams are not mandatory in those countries as they believe in talent rather than certificates and degrees.  That's why getting job in those countries is easy.  Technology has been improved a lot and the syllabus and books should be changed according to the new concepts that are added.  There are some international schools, who teaches concepts in depth and conducts many activities for students to improve their skills.  Some schools they don't even have staff to teach.  We can see such schools in India everywhere.  It is mere waste to join children in schools not having minimum infrastructure. Schools should provide basic knowledge for students and the intermediate education should be relevant to what they study after that course.  The engineering syllabus should be designed according to the modern technologies and new project designing subjects. Parents also should take care of their children by frequently visiting their children's school once in a while to know their progress. "

" Nowadays teaching methods in India are very good. But there should some changes while taking classes to childres who are not able to concentrate on studies properly. In some, educational institutions, they are providing equal classes to both the toppers and also to dullers. This criteria have to remove from some of the schools or educational institutions. Some school offer their edication for money. Because of this many of poor childrens cannot study and failed to reach their goals in a short time. So they are prefer government schools for their future security. Of course Government schools are providing very good teaching methods and trying to give a best educations to people equally. So there may have some changes in our Indian education system. First of all all educational institute try to make low fees to poor people who are not able to pay the huge amount of fees. Otherwise the teaching methods in India is really good thank you "

" Mother is the first teacher for every child. Child starts learning or listening in the mother's womb itself. Society makes every one to learn a lot. Attractive things make us to do or make us to learn it. The compassion on particular things will make us to learn it. Teaching should has to make children to understand or learn something concept from it. Teaching should not be of spoon feeding. In India most schools are busy in trying to get ranks in board exams. They are forgetting to make children to fit the society. They are not regretting about the students inter personnel skills. Its like study bees. Books has to make learn things. Most of the education confined to books. Books alone do not make people to understand the society. Its just contains the basic information.Every individual should self motivate themselves. Best teacher can make the best citizen. Who knows the value of education is the best teacher. Student will automatically obey his words. Government is doing inspection on schools, colleges. But it is not in a proper manner. Some dishonest corrupt people will take bribes and make the institutions certify with good grades. Now a days, education is became a business. Everyone, is concentrating on their own profits. Education is meant to make people think, mold themselves, to mingle with society. Now, a days teaching skills are changed. Chalk board converted to projectors. Books converted to laptops. Guides converted to internet. It is really benefit to society. It saves time, money, improves knowledge. Finally, in India teaching can has to even modify with better schemes and ideas. Exams has to be conduct to test the knowledge of people not to test their memory capacity. Make the children learn about exterior world. Do not stop them to fly in a different way. "

" "In all-over the world we know that Mother is our primary teacher". Everything which we learn in our childhood we polish it and enhance in all over the life.Teaching method in India is dependent on various factor Student and teacher are focusing to enhance and grab the knowledge as the required field of interest .Teaching method is a important factor in India Basic education system is a root of the Student to chose their field of interest so the basic education system is very important. In India the Government school and colleges are not doing as the required phenomenon they are using the  waste of time or waiting the period of class time-over if any teacher is teaching with their full effort it make the good and future reference on the field of subject.                                                      To grab knowledge from any source a field of interest is major part of that, the way of learning is different moreover some student learn better by listening, some are by watching and some student by doing. If the mixed method of study is adopted then all the knowledge is going to be use.                                                      Some student's are not able to relate the course knowledge to the real world, they think that the what we are study is not useful in real world. let is take a example there is a college in Greater Noida G.L.Bajaj  instiuite of technology  and management  who believe in "learning by doing" they first give the knowledge about the course and after the a practical workshop is doing to relate these knowledge to this real world.Conclusion- In India the Education system the course division is good but the method of study is not as good as per the requirement so the new technology is being added to Grow the education system and give the chance of equality in gender boys and girls to make India proud in front of the World.  "

" As we know, Education is the most basic fundamental thing in our life. Without education, we are just like an animal. The future of any country depends on the students. In other words, We can say that if the education system of a nation is better then that country is more developed as compare to any other country. But, the education system in India is very different from other countries. In another country, like Japan, China, America etc. they focus on practical knowledge. But in our country, we focus on theoretical knowledge. In other words, we gather more knowledge from reading books, listening lectures. But, tell me what is the uses of such type of knowledge when we cannot apply in a practical manner. In India, the teaching method is like going school at time, listening to boring lectures, taking notes of such boring lectures. We never focus or think about the practical knowledge. Instead of practical knowledge we are focus on theoretical knowledge. Look at China they focus on practical knowledge. As a result, each and every student in china make something different even from schooling. But, in India even engineering students do not do anything. They make only one final year project. We only memorize our syllabus and write down on the answer sheet in the examination hall. When our exam is over we forget everything which we are studied in the previous class. In other words, We can say that our studies is only for short-term. It is not long lasting. So, last but not least, I want to say that the government should mandate that at least one project is compulsory in primary school level and two for middle school and three for high school. For, engineering student one internship is mandatory in every year. By doing this we not only increase the quality of education but also developed the country.  "

" Methods of teaching is one of the primary topics any student undergoing teacher training has to deal with. It is no wonder that the majority of question arising in this field are in this or that way connected with misconceptions or wrong assumptions concerning this topic – which is exactly why any student willing to master it should pay special attention to grasping at least the basic theory of teaching methods and doing a lot of practice: for example, writing an essay about it.A person who has only been on a receiving end of education often doesn’t think about methods employed in this process. For them education is something that just happens to them, and they don’t give extra thought to how it all is organized. In reality, teaching methods are a complicated and multi-lateral issue, with many opposing schools of thought. When all’s said and done, however, most teaching methods can be roughly subdivided into two groups: teacher-centric and student-centric.Teacher-centric learning is also often referred to as the traditional educational model, because it is basically what we are all used to associate with teaching and studying. In this model, students are considered to be de-facto “empty vessels”, passive receivers of knowledge and skills. It is a teacher’s job to provide instruction and guidance for them, “filling up” these empty vessels in the process, and students are supposed to learn by listening to lectures, observing and copying the teacher’s actions and in general subjecting themselves to the teacher’s ultimate authority.Student-centric approach to learning is a much more recent development, placing emphasis on students’ participation in the educational process. This approach considers students to be not just objects but subjects of education as well, and teacher’s role is viewed as not as that of instructor but facilitator and delegator. To simplify it a bit, a teacher doesn’t provide one or another method of doing things that is already set in stone, but offers guidance and support so that students are capable to figure things out on their own, thus making them active participants of the process.Emphasizes teamwork: students are encouraged to work in groups and engage in reciprocal teaching. The teacher is not eliminated from the equation altogether, but his role, again, is that of facilitator and delegate rather than that of the one and only authority on every question.  "
