Einstein said, “The true sign of intelligence is not
knowledge but imagination”. For centuries philosophers have tried to pinpoint
the true measures of intelligence. Intelligence is broken into three subsets
analytic, creative and practical.
Humans being smart, the reason is humans needing to survive
and reproduce were influenced by our need to take care of our little ones.
Something called a positive evolutionary feedback loop. Human babies are born
in their brain developed.
Intelligence was viewed as a fined inmate capacity, a genetic
gift from mom and dad. But intelligence is not as fixed as it thought of. Neuroscience
researchers suggest that most newborn infants are born with the potential to
achieve in many cognitive areas. Child's brain is extraordinary malleable and
teachable. The job of infant brain is to figure out, what is going on around,
what skills are sensory abilities it will be important to master. Once the
basics are established the child’s brain will set out on a path to become an
expert in those areas.
Stimulating child in certain ways, parents set the stage for
the infant brain to begin a developmental strategy, which influence what child
becomes, smart at which area. There are many facts about early childhood brain
development. A four year-old are better at solving novel problems than many
adults. Children are more attentive to surrounding atmosphere than adults. They
learn language by interacting with adults.
There are plenty of brilliant people in world who never
amount to much solely because they lacked the desire to refine their inherent
talents and intelligence. On other hand, there are plenty of people who had the
odds stacked against them and went on to do brilliant things. People aren’t
born smart. People learn how to work with what they got, and become
intelligent as a result.
