Government job v/s Private Job

In government jobs, there is much more job security and a stress free life. There is no pressure of work. These jobs provides much facilities like quarters, internet, etc. Also, the salary will increase on a regular basis, no matter how much you work. Due to the position and power, a government employee get much more respect in comparison to a private sector employee. Also, there is much more number of holidays other than week-ends.
But, there is one disadvantage that in these jobs reservation system plays a major role. So, sometimes it happens that meritorious and deserving candidates do not get the right post.
On the other hand, in private jobs there is no such reservation system prevailing. Every candidates get their deserving positions. Also, there are huge number of opportunities where you can show your capabilities. You can work with many advanced technologies which can lack in government jobs. You also have the chance to work in abroad.
But, same, these private jobs also have some cons. The most prevailing one is the job insecurity. Also, there is no much holidays given, you may also have to work on week-ends or any festivals. There is much pressure and stress of work.
Thus, both government and private jobs are in a way both good and bad. It depends on the person in what he/she is comfortable to work in.
