Woman Empowerment has not become the cause for the increase in number of divorce cases. In olden days women used to be either less educated or illiterate so they use to suffer and tolerate all the domestic violence, or any other persecution on them because they did not had any other to option as families those days were not supportive for divorces. But today Women are self independent so they think that it is not necessary to tolerate and suffer all the violence in marriages. So increase in number of divorce case has nothing to do with women empowerment. One cannot blame this for divorce it is there awareness.

Empowering women does not alienate her from society and from her spouse. It gives her opportunity and platform to be an equal stakeholder in her lif eand society.
