Syntel conduct candidates recruitment process every year and Syntel Selection Process comprises of 4 rounds. These rounds are as follows:



1. Written Test

2. Group Discussion

3. Technical Interview

4. HR Interview



Syntel written test format includes Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning. The cumulative test duration is 60 minutes, and there are no sectional cutoffs and no negative marking, each section have time limit of 20 Min.

90 questions in 60 Minutes, this itself gives you the hunch that the questions are going to be easy and it is going to be the game of speed. “Q4I” suggest to solve 70-80% of the correct questions per section.


 


Quantitative Aptitude: This section consists of questions from the topics like algebra, time & work, time and distance, problem on train, arithmetic, percentages, profit & loss, geometry, Profit & Loss etc.


 


Verbal Ability: This section consists of short reading comprehension, They are easy to solve and answers can be easily found in the passages. This section also consists of basic grammar usage questions like fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, paragraph completion, sentence completion, vocabulary, etc.


 


Logical Reasoning: This section consists of data interpretation and logical reasoning questions. The section involves easy solving puzzles, graphs, charts, tables, line arrangements, statement-assumption, etc.


 


Group Discussion: In this section candidate will be divided into group of 10, mostly Syntel Group Discussion topics will be latest, or they might ask candidates to suggest some topics. It is most eliminating round of the Syntel whole selection process, so candidates need to practice this section more and more. Technical Interview: In Syntel Interview Process, Candidates who get selected from Written Test and Group Discussion, will have Technical round.In this round questions will be from resume, project (Explain your final year project?), candidates core subjects, C/C++/DS/OS/Networking etc. Be prepared with your core subjects and try to answer most of the technical questions. HR Interview: This round might be clubed with Technical Round interview, It will be based on personal and educational details of Candidates. The questions will be like Introduce yourself, Why should we hire you? , some questions like how was previous round, strength, weaknesses, Are you ready for relocation? What are the challenges you have faced in your life? and the last question candidates can expect from interviewer is like  Any question for me? .
