I think length of ladder should be 100m.
if we put ladder length 100m, then
by Pythagoras theorem
AB^2 = AC^2+CB^2
=> 100^2 = 60^ + AC^2
=> AC = 80 M
By triangle properties
Lets assume angle between <abc is y
so tan (y) = 80/60 = 8/6 -----------(1)
After putting x length cube .
the angle formed is also same i.e y
so tan (y) = (80-x)/x ---------- (2)
By eq (1) & (2)
(80-x)/x = 8/6
480 - 6x = 8x
=> 14x = 480
=> 7x = 240 => x = 240/7
x = 34.28 M
