A can do in 20 days so 1 day work = 1/20.
Let B alone can do in x days so 1 day work of B is = 1/x
Acc. to the question= 1/20+1/x= 1/12
We get x= 15 days.
So B alone can do the whole work doing alone in 15 days.
But Acc. to the question he only does half a work daily so he will take 30 days to complete the full work
If B works together with A then
1/30+ 1/20= 1/15 or 15 days will be taken to complete the work.
